Prepare the source.
Set the feel before it branches. Add a gate, gentle compression, EQ or a drive feeding the rest of the patch.
TESSEL / MODULAR MULTIBAND EFFECTS
Give every part of your sound its own direction.
Shape a full-range chain, split the spectrum or blend parallel layers. Tessel brings effects, captures and convolution together for the sounds you want to build.
Add amp character where the guitar speaks. Keep the low end and air on their own paths.

01 / FOLLOW THE SIGNAL
The structure stays understandable as your patch grows: Before, frequency blocks, then After.
Set the feel before it branches. Add a gate, gentle compression, EQ or a drive feeding the rest of the patch.
Use a full-range block or split into 2–8 adjustable bands. Each band has its own effects, level, Solo and Mute.
Shape the recombined sound with final EQ, space, dynamics or output adjustment.
Blocks run one after another. Bands or parallel branches inside a split run together and merge before the next block. Reordering blocks changes what each one receives.
Understand the routingBlend complete chains. Keep one direct and stable while the other adds character or atmosphere.
Work on the shared center and stereo difference separately. A mono source needs a stereo-generating effect to create width.
Process the two channels independently when a stereo recording or a deliberate contrast calls for it.
On blend-capable effects, edit the dry and processed paths separately. EQ a reverb tail or compress a delay return.
02 / THE COLOURS IN YOUR CHAIN
Build a dependable instrument chain, finish a bus, or push a simple source into unfamiliar territory.
Amp voices, overdrive, distortion, fuzz, saturation and tape colour.
EQ, filters, gates, compressors, de-essing and transient shaping.
Chorus, phaser, flanger, tremolo, auto-pan and doubling.
Rooms, modulated spaces, shimmer, tape-style and ducked echoes.
Pitched grains, spectral freeze, wavefolding and tuned resonators.
Captured pedal, amp, rig or outboard behaviour, plus WAV impulse responses.
03 / YOUR GEAR, IN THE CHAIN
Load your local files, or explore TONE3000 from inside the plugin.
A NAM model captures the behaviour of equipment. An impulse response captures the response of a cabinet, microphone setup or space. They do different jobs—and Tessel gives each a place in the chain.
Learn the NAM + IR workflowPedal, amp, full-rig and outboard captures. Use a dedicated slot for the job the model performs.
Pair an amp-only model with a cabinet, or add an acoustic-space response on its own path.
Built-in effects and saved files work offline. TONE3000’s online browser requires sign-in and service access. External models and IRs are separate downloads, not bundled content.
A full-rig capture may already include a cabinet. Check before adding a second one.
04 / A PLACE TO BEGIN
488 embedded presets, organised by instrument, purpose, character, genre and collection. Find a starting point, then follow what you hear.
100 setups, from clear cleans and edge-of-breakup to high-gain rhythm and leads.
100 soundscapes built around bands, stereo space and optional NAM captures.
50 instrument patches for grains, shifting textures and unexpected motion.
50 starting points for instrument buses, the stereo mix and final shaping.
Factory patches offer built-in alternatives while optional external files are unassigned. Save your own variations with their routing, settings, pins and file references.
05 / FIT THE SESSION
Choose a processing mode around the task. Check your actual chain’s CPU load and latency in your DAW.
Lighter processing while tracking and exploring a sound. Keeps resource use in view.
FOR THE PERFORMANCEFuller processing and tails while you balance the source with the rest of the session.
FOR THE CONTEXTThe strongest available processing settings and the largest included NAM network.
FOR THE FINAL PASSLatency and CPU demand depend on the modules and models you load. Play is not a guarantee of zero latency. Change modes before playback or rendering; changes can reset effect tails.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
No. Built-in effects and native preset alternatives work without external captures. NAM and IR files are optional.
Tessel loads existing NAM models and impulse responses. It does not provide a capture or model-training workflow.
Current host automation covers input gain, output gain and bypass. Pinned effect controls are editable and saved with your patch; they are not currently separate host automation parameters.
The documented build target is Windows x64. No current macOS or Linux release has been verified, so those platforms are not listed as available.
Keep downloaded assets alongside your session archive. Patches store paths rather than embedding the files. Factory alternatives help you get started, but a specific saved sound may need its exact model or IR restored.
